Our second day in Madrid started with clear sky and beautiful light
and a yummy breakfast!
Then, we walked to Madrid's famous Rastro (a very big market).
We walked around the market, bought some things and entered some antique shops. I liked so much those scandinavian style desks...
After the Rastro, we started to walk again to the center of the city, in the searching of a restaurant a friend recommended to us. In the way we found this lovely Christmas market.
Finally, we found the restaurant. It's in this beautiful blue hostel.
The food was amazingly good and the price was even better. Recommend it! It's called Ginger, in Hostal Persal.
When we were full and happy we went back to our hotel to rest a little. I couldn't resist taking a picture of this christmasy Dunkin' donuts.
While my mum had a siesta, I took pictures of some of the things we bought in the big market.
I bought this jacket for 5€! Best purchase ever, hehe.
We bought some books too. My favourite is this one. It has lots of rose petals, a note and a dry rose in it! It was so special. I mean, It felt so special to buy a book which clearly has had a life. A mysterious life I'll never know. Probably a love story behind the story which is actually written on its pages...
I ate this stuff we bought in the Christmas market while doing Physics and Chemistry homework.
After the break, we went to the botanical garden!
It's such a dreamy place <3
Then we went to The Prado Museum once again to watch again Bosch, Dürer and Goya's paintings.
I could stay months or even years in the museum and never get bored...
After it, we went to Caixa Forum. It was a bit late to go into the exhibitions, so we just had a look in the shop and then went back to the hotel.
Before going to bed I started to read a book about Bosch we bought in The Prado Museum.
