Whoops! Christmas time came and I didn't finish with the posts from the days I spent in Madrid in the beginning of December! Here it is, the last day in Madrid: (If you haven't read how the first two days were, you can click here to see how the first day was, and here to see how the second one was)
The first thing we did the third and last day was going to Caixa Forum. I love this place.
It was forbidden to take pictures in the exhibitions... But I'm a little rebel and took this one with the phone, hehe. They were really good! Loved Roni Horn's photography exhibition.
There were some photo booths there at the end of her exhibition. It was fun!
Then we took the metro...
... to the Royal Palace!
It was amazing... It was forbidden to take photos in most of the rooms, so well, here can you see the ceiling of the entry.
Then we walked to Temple of Debod.
It's an ancient Egyptian temple which was rebuilt in Madrid. We couldn't stay there much time because we were going to see The Lion King musical some minutes later!
We ate something very quickly before...
... and then came here!
It was SO cool. I really liked it. And the theatre was beautiful.
After it we went back to our hotel, rested a little and then went to Starbucks to have some special Christmas coffee and hot chocolate and sandwiches.
Then it was time to pack the suitcases! We passed VIPS a second to buy some snacks for the plane. We hadn't any fridge in our room, but it was so cold outside we left the fruit and the sandwiches on the balcony, hehe. It worked very well.
